Last Chance To Order For Mother's Day 2023! ๐
When I was a kid, I remember waking up on Mother's Day and making my Mum a breakfast menu. I wasn't much of a chef, but I'm pretty sure I put pancakes on that menu (๐ ๐จโ๐ณ), as well as easy things like toast and cereal.
When Mum woke up I excitedly took my menu in and said I'd make her anything she wanted. ๐
You know what she chose?
"Cornflakes and muesli, please Jeremy." I was shocked.๐ฒ
"But Mum, that's what you eat every day!"๐ค I protested. "Don't you want something different today? I'll make you anything!"
She smiled and thanked me, and still chose cornflakes and muesli.๐ฅฃ
When I was 20, my Mum passed away. ๐ I still miss her every single day - I think I always will. And even more so now that I have two amazing boys of my own. I really wish she was here to walk this parenting journey with me. ๐
So as I reflect on what Larissa (my wife) and I are doing here at Dad Certified, I realise just how important it is -

Some people call us a diary company but we're not. We're all about building confidence, deepening family bonds, creating memories, andย recordingย those memories. ๐
Needless to say, if my Dad had gotten something like aย Making Mum's Day Diaryย when I was a kid, and I had filled it out with menus and drawings and adventures and photos with my Mum - well you can imagine how much I'd treasure that now. ๐๐๐

Car/Motorbike Show/Museum ๐ย (There's nothing like a classic car. Introduce your kids to what you used to ride around in as a kid and even show them what came before. A fun day out for all!)
- Bus Ride ๐ย (It might sound boring to you, but this is actually really fun for kids who have never been on a bus before! Great for young kids and great in any weather (as long as you don't have to wait in the rain). It's not about the destination but having a fun destination, like a new park, and ice cream place or even the sops, makes it a lot of fun!)

- Glamour Night ๐ ย (Comfy clothes are great for parenting but take this chance to get dressed up nice and go out for cocktails or a fancy dinner. Youโll feel great!)
