"Are you alright in there, buddy?" I asked my 3-year-old son.
Despite being in the middle of one of the sickest weeks of his life... 🤮
He was having the time of his life...
In the bath! 🛀
My wife was busy, straining through flu-like symptoms while she put our youngest to sleep after he had taken himself off to bed at 4pm! 😴
In our home, the past week has been less about routines and more about coping with fevers, conjunctivitis and endless sniffles. 🤒🤧
Amidst this whirlwind, there have been moments that have felt like calm amongst the storm. 🕊
As I navigated through a landscape littered with toys and dishes...
Battling a headache and nausea myself... 🤢
I stumbled upon a scene that encapsulated pure joy. 😲
My eldest, in the bath, was lost in an imaginative world of his own...
Deeply engaged with his colourful companions...
The "Lil Wetties". 🙌
These weren't just any bath toys!
They had become his treasured sea creatures, leading him on an epic underwater adventure in search of a lost friend. 🐳
His focus was intense.
A brief "yep" in response to my check-in, and he was back, diving into his narrative with unwavering enthusiasm.
These Lil Wetties...

have now been part of our lives for a lil over a month (pun intended)... 😏
But.
Have never failed to mesmerize! 👀
Night after night, they continue to be the highlight of bath time...
