He was only a few months old.
But it was time.
Time for my first Dadenture with my son!
My wife called out to me as we walked out the door.
"Hey! You'll need this!"
"What's that?" I asked her.
"The nappy bag of course."
"Oh... Yeah." I said hesitantly.
"What's wrong with it?" She asked.
"It's a mum bag... Do we have another one?" I asked hopefully.
"It's not that feminine, it's brown." She retorted.
"Yeah, brown leather with tassels and gold zippers. It looks just like a woman's handbag." I said defiantly.
"Yeah, I guess you're right." She replied.
"But it's the only one we've got. You don't have to like it, but you'll definitely need it... He hasn't pooed all day!"
"Now get going, before it's time for his nap."
I reluctantly took the mum bag from her and we headed out on our Dadventure...
More self-conscience than ever.
I've now grown used to taking the mum bag with me when I take my kids out.
But, I still don't like it.
And it's not just because of how it looks...
It's uncomfortable...
Things get lost in it...
And there's not enough space for everything!
Enter the Dad Certified - Dadventure Bag!
As you know, we're about solving problems for dads (and mums) for a more fulfilling parenthood experience.
So, we've been working hard with our designers behind the scenes to bring you something very special.
Thank you for all the nappy bag input you've given us so far - which has heavily influenced our development of the Dadventure Bag to date.
We are so grateful!
That's why we wanted to share our ideas with YOU first.
We've already put a great deal of energy into these designs, these sketches of the outside barely do them justice...
There are so many features and functions that we can't wait to show you.
And we'll get to that...
But, firstly, I'd absolutely love it if you could give me your preference on the shape of these two options.
Not the colour, or features (YET!)...
But just the overall shape and placement of compartments and zippers.
And if you're not a dad, could you please ask one for their input?
After all, it's a bag for dads. ;)

Train Ride 🚂 (Try catching the train to a new park near a nearby station and get some food out while you're there. Try to avoid the "Quiet Carriage" if you can. 😉)

- Evening Bike Ride 🚲 (Just go cruise together. Perfect when paired with a picnic. (Helmets and bike lights are highly recommended).)
